Day 1 | Ethical Elephant Care & Hill Tribe Homestay
Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and travel south for approximately 1.5 hours. On the way, stop at a local market to experience daily village life and fresh local ingredients.
Arrive at the elephant sanctuary and learn about Asian elephants, ethical care, conservation, and their natural behavior. Meet the elephants, feed them organic food, and walk alongside them through the forest while observing how they forage naturally.
Enjoy a local-style lunch served in banana leaves. In the afternoon, learn to make natural herbal medicine balls for elephants and accompany them to the river for bathing. You may join them in the water if you wish.
Late afternoon free time to relax at the homestay, swim in the river or nearby waterfall. In the evening, join a Thai & Karen cooking class, prepare your own dinner, and enjoy a campfire gathering under the stars.

Day 2 | Doi Inthanon National Park & Waterfall Trek
Wake up to fresh mountain air and enjoy breakfast. Say goodbye to the elephants before heading to Doi Inthanon National Park.
Visit Thailand’s highest point (2,565 meters above sea level) and the stupa of King Inthawichayanon. Walk the Ang Ka Nature Trail, surrounded by lush evergreen forest.
Continue to the Twin Royal Pagodas built in honor of King Rama IX and Queen Sirikit, offering panoramic mountain views. Visit a Hmong hill tribe market and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Meet a local Karen guide from the Pa Ka Yor tribe and begin a soft trek to Pha Dok Siew Waterfall, passing through forest trails, rice terraces, and coffee plantations. Enjoy fresh Arabica coffee in the village.
End the journey at Wachirathan Waterfall, famous for its powerful cascade and refreshing mist, before returning to Chiang Mai.
