Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 | Chiang Mai → Chiang Rai Highlights → Phu Chi Fa

Depart Chiang Mai at 8:30 AM and stop at a local hot spring along the scenic mountain road.

Continue to Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), a masterpiece of contemporary Buddhist art by Chalermchai Kositpipat. Walk through its symbolic buildings including the White Hall, Hall of Flame, souvenir area, and the iconic golden restroom.

Visit Singha Park, enjoying tea plantations and panoramic landscapes. Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, explore Baan Dam Museum (Black House), an extraordinary art complex by Thawan Duchanee reflecting philosophy and life through dark art.

Continue toward Phu Chi Fa, a peaceful mountain area near the Laos border.
